This course addresses the growing need for organising and running online meetings. While it is relatively easy to set up a meeting and to get access to the appropriate technology, becoming proficient in conducting online meetings takes much longer. In this course, participants will learn about a wide range of issues, from understanding the shift from onsite to online meetings from a policy perspective, through to dealing with seemingly trivial issues such as the most frequently-asked question during online meetings: Can you hear me? Course discussions will also reflect on adjusting traditional protocol and procedures to online spaces.
What will you learn?
● How to select appropriate online meeting platforms and related tools for your organisational needs.
● How to prepare and run an online meeting, starting from the initial idea, through the practical steps of running the meeting, to reporting and wrapping up.
● How to effectively moderate online meetings in order for all parties to achieve their objectives.
● How AI and other emerging technologies may contribute to online meetings.
